BRINGING BACK OUR TRADITIONS

A folk costume expresses a national identity through clothing or custom, which is associated with a specific region and time period in history.

In the 80's and 90's, the American multinational toy manufacturing company MATTEL, launched a stunning collection of Barbies of the World. In 2023, I developed a fascination for complementing this collection as a private designer, collector, and owner of the remaining women's national custom dresses that were not included in their collection.
